The latest work by the musician, visual artist and performer PRICE is a record release in the form of a performance concert. In this context, the album cover gets turned into an advertisement, the advertisement into a costume, the costume into a scenography, and the scenography into a space for live music. The audience enters a field of desire, repetition, scent, and new music by PRICE: not a song first, but a shirt; not one pigeon, but many.

  • PRICE (Mathias Ringgenberg, b. 1986 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Zurich-based artist working across installation, performance, sound, scent, and scenography. Rooted in theatre and performance, his current practice increasingly stages atmosphere itself: voice, smell, objects, and spatial fragments become carriers of affect and dramaturgy. Often using residual materials from theatrical production, his works move between exhibition, stage, and club, exploring how identity, desire, and spectatorship are produced through surfaces, moods, and acts of display.
