Arrival
Tram
From the ‘Sihlpost’ streetcar and bus stop, it is about 300 meters southwest over the military bridge to Gessnerallee.
Bicycle
There are parking spaces for two-wheelers around the building.
Parking House
City Parking Zurich is located in the immediate vicinity of the Gessnerallee Theatre (address: Gessnerallee 14). Upon presentation of their parking ticket, visitors will receive a voucher worth CHF 5 at the theatre box office, which will be credited when paying the parking fee at the City Parking machine.
Four parking spaces are available for people with disabilities on each of the first, second and third floors:
two spaces directly after the entrance (left and right),
one space at the theatre exit (right),
one space at the Löwenplatz exit (right).
The parking spaces are marked in yellow and additionally marked with a wheelchair symbol on the floor.

Prices
At the Gessnerallee, the following price levels generally apply at the box office or online:
Theater, dance, performance: dream price CHF 35 / CHF 25 / small price CHF 15
Different prices may apply to individual events such as talks, concerts or parties.
Further prices
Students, schoolchildren, children under the age of 16, people with a IV card or culture permit can purchase reduced-price tickets at the box office or online.
Accompanying persons for visitors with disabilities, persons with residence permits S, N, F receive free tickets at the box office and online.
Box office
The box office is open one hour before the performance begins. Vouchers and annual passes can be purchased at the box office. Contact: kasse@gessnerallee.ch and Phone +41 (0)44 225 81 11 (available one hour before each performance).
Seating options
In addition to seating or standing room, 'wheelchair spaces' and 'beanbag spaces' can be booked for (almost) all events.

Sold-Out shows
A few remaining tickets are usually available at the box office on the day of the event. In addition, you can join a waiting list on-site starting 1 hour before the show begins.
For sold-out performances, we reserve a small number of accessible seats (wheelchair spaces & beanbag chairs). We ask that individuals with accessibility needs contact kasse@gessnerallee.ch.
Late admission
If you arrive late, admission after the event has started can't be guaranteed.
Annual pass
For all those who want more Gessnerallee in their lives, we offer the annual pass. There are three freely selectable price categories to choose from:
Dream price CHF 350 / Wish price CHF 250 / Small price CHF 150
Unless otherwise indicated, the annual pass includes all theater, dance and performance shows as well as concerts and club evenings. The annual pass can be purchased at the box office or online. Annual pass holders can purchase their tickets at the box office and online.
The annual pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Vouchers
For all those who want to give their friends, colleagues or neighbours more Gessnerallee in their lives, vouchers are available to purchase both at the box office and online. The perfect gift for any occasion.
Vouchers can be purchased for the ticket categories we offer (CHF 35 / CHF 25 / CHF 15) and are valid for one admission. However, they can also be credited towards the purchase of several admissions and annual passes. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay out remaining amounts.
When purchasing online, the voucher will be sent by post within the next few days. Upon request, it can also be sent as a gift.
Age recommendations
We only give age recommendations for shows that are either specifically intended for an audience under the age of 18 or where the content (pornography, violence or nudity) is only suitable for an audience from the age 16 or 18.
