Who gets what place, and where? In Switzerland, in this society? And whose voices are heard in the public sphere?

People with migrant backgrounds are often spoken about – rather than with. In the Papierlose Zeitung of the Autonome Schule Zürich, migrants tell their own stories, sharing their perspectives on migration and politics. Personal, journalistic and poetic. The Autonome Schule Zürich reads from the latest issue of the Papierlose Zeitung at Gessnerallee. An evening of stories about displacement and resistance, moments of hope and solidarity.

  • Content note: Some of the contributions describe experiences of fleeing and situations involving severe psychological distress.

About the Papierlose Zeitung

The Papierlose Zeitung is a project run by the Autonomous School Zurich (ASZ). People with and without ID work together on the newspaper. It is published online with regular updates and once a year in print as a supplement to the weekly newspaper WOZ.
