Light has the ability to transform spaces and change the atmosphere, yet it remains intangible. «(f)LUX» is a concert performance making use of this magic in order to play with our sense of perception. Buzzing and scratching, with beats and drones, moments of confusion and surprising twists and turns, it leads us through suspenseful changes of mood, created by Ensemble Eklekto.

For more than 50 years, the Geneva-based collective have been ingeniously turning whatever they can get their hands on – from neon tubes to light bulbs and matches – into percussion.

There will be an introduction at 6 pm.

A feature about the concert will be broadcast on Radio SRF2 Kultur. Broadcast date at sonicmatter.ch/calendar.

Access means

Strobe lights and matches will be used.
