Desire is more than just a wish. Desire is a deep, perhaps even painful longing that is focussed on something we absolutely want: an object, a relationship, a state. But where does this uncontrollable desire come from? In a world where we are constantly told what we should desire, we question the authenticity of our own desire and what potential it harbours.

For example, your everyday desire to fulfil yourself: You get on the tram, smile and are simply satisfied with yourself for a moment. Then you look at the other people next to you and their faces turn into «resting bitch faces» in your head, looking at you judgy and telling you «You were really weird again today!»
