As part of the workshop “Dramaturgy blind inclusive” organized by the Company Criptonite, a public keynote lecture by Fia Neises and Liv Schellander will take place for all interested parties. People of all visual abilities and backgrounds are invited to learn more about accessibility for visually impaired and blind people. The focus will be on anti-ableist strategies in the fields of theater, performance and dance.

The input is dedicated to disabling barriers and the concept of self-description, which is considered an important access strategy. In addition, Fia Neises and Liv Schellander explain what is meant by the term “perceptual style” and why it is so important in terms of inclusion and accessibility. Among other things, they address the following questions: "How are perceptions and perspectives of visually impaired/blind people composed? What are orientation tools and practices and what role does the sense of touch play in this?"

Afterwards, all participants will have the opportunity to share experiences from their own practice, ask questions and network.

The keynote lecture is free of charge and can be attended without participating in the “Dramamaturgy blind inclusive” workshop. The event lasts three hours.
