Dear visitors to Gessnerallee, dear artists

During this season, Year-To-Date, an association of three Zurich artists and musicians, is curating the music programme at Gessnerallee. In the coming months, they will provide many great concert highlights, once again. Here is an initial preview:

The programme kicks off on 28 February with Modulaw, who will present his latest work ‘The Songweaver’, a carefully sorted collection of musical codes and references. With his expertise in electro-acoustic composition and a broad spectrum of collaborations in contemporary electronic music, rap and dancehall behind him, ‘The Songweaver’ is dedicated to the intersections of memory, culture and stories and weaves them into something new and unique. Secure a ticket now.

The show continues on 1 March with SONOSYNTHESIS. This evening will bring together musicians from a wide range of backgrounds (NÂR, Siavash Namehshiri, tracy september, Yasmine El Baramawy, Legion Seven, Kay Zhang). They are connected across borders and will celebrate the release of their joint LP with solo and collective performances. And secure another ticket right away.

Shortly afterwards, London's most sought-after guitarist, singer and producer Alpha Maid will move to Gessnerallee for a fortnight and invites you to a concert in the North Wing on 14 March at the end of her residency.

Year-To-Date will also be a guest at the Südbühne throughout March, hosting concerts, workshops, listening sessions, film screenings, exhibitions, rituals and more from Sunday to Friday. In this space, presence will mix with feelings, attitudes, sounds, materials and smells to create a moment in itself - fleeting and alive.

More information about the ‘March Mix’ will follow on our website and on the Year-To-Date Telegram channel.
