Who looks at Switzerland and no longer sees just the three white old men from the Appenzell advert? Seriously, take a look at Switzerland! ‘We’re not just statistically more – we could also be more politically!’ says Fatima Moumouni – and perhaps her guests agree. But who is ‘we’?

This first episode of the brand-new MOUMOUNI Late Night Show explores a narrative of contemporary Switzerland that hasn’t quite caught up with itself yet. The Black, queer, Muslim host guides us through a show that blends gossip with political analysis, rants with high culture, resistance with entertainment. Featuring guests who have opinions and are making the world a better place. In a hangout spot modelled on a Congolese nganda – and at the same time a late-night shop, a neighbourhood meet-up and an unofficial parliament. With a late-night band, of course!

Following the Late Night Show, there’ll be a party at Stall6, curated by Malefi.

Accessibility and practical information

• Duration: The show lasts 120 minutes, including a 15-minute interval.

• Early Boarding: is available.

• Language: Spoken German and Swiss German

• Sound: The host and the guests will speak into microphones; there will be videos shown on a screen; and a late-night band will be playing.

• As the show is still being developed, accessibility information will be updated regularly in the run-up to the event.
