Since November 2024, CORRECTIV.Schweiz has been researching visible and invisible barriers in everyday life – in the city, in social life and in our minds – as part of the project ‘Attention barrier! Where does life become difficult for you?’ in cooperation with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU) and Arts. The focus is on the realities of life for people with disabilities. They dealt with one question in particular detail: How does it feel to navigate public spaces as a blind, autistic or elderly person?
On this evening, CORRECTIV.Schweiz and the HSLU will address these questions with personal texts, discussions and perspectives that are often overlooked in public discourse. The discussion will involve those affected, experts and those responsible. Visitors will also be able to experience the research results for themselves through mixed reality glasses, which open up new perspectives. The mixed reality application was developed by HSLU.
Guests
Jahn Graf, activist and inclusion officer at the Kleintheater Luzern
Simone Tuena-Küpfer, health scientist, lecturer and consultant
Flavia Frei, Commissioner for the Equality of People with Disabilities for the City of Zurich
