Tim Zulauf/KMUProduktionen invite you to the presentation of «durch Geräusche / unter Wörtern / in Gesellschaft» and celebrate their book project with an exhibition: five video works, created on the basis of installative performances, allow a change of perspective between the books and the underlying locations, between the collectively honed dialogues and the political-historical research.

The exhibition at Gessnerallee will be framed by two talks. On the opening evening, «Publizieren – für Öffentlichkeiten sorgen?» A dialogue on the politics of publishing and the publication «durch Geräusche / unter Wörtern / in Gesellschaft» Georg Rutishauser, Tim Zulauf and Lisa Letnansky (dramaturge Tanzhaus, cantonal councillor AL) will discuss connections between art and books and explore changes between mediation and politics.

The second discussion «Kunstumwelten – Gegenerzählungen zur Gesellschaft» a discussion on art, experiment and the public sphere, will take place on 8 June at 4PM. Sabian Baumann (artist), Anke Hoffmann (mediator, curator), Yves Netzhammer (artist), Christoph Rath (author, director and actor) and Tim Zulauf will meet for a discussion. The cultural practitioners - active in, associated with or closely involved in the KMU productions network - will discuss how their artistic approach is fuelled by contemporary issues and evokes social resonances through inscriptions or counter-worlds.
