    Stall6

Artistic pop music and powerful messages with Gina Eté. Copyright: Niclas Weber The children’s concert series at Stall6 invites children and their friends—both old and new—to experience music up close and personal.

Breathless intimacy, political awareness and music that is multi-layered, surprising and intense: we’re talking about the Zurich-based musician Gina Été. For she manages to combine what many consider incompatible: artful pop music and powerful statements.

A trained violist who also plays the piano and synths, she sings in German, Swiss German, English and French. Her music is characterised by complex arrangements and captivates with its odd time signatures, emotional depth and an unmistakable blend of hybrid chamber pop, indie and experimental sounds.

The children's concert series at Stall6 invites children aged 3 to 12 and their old and young friends to experience music up close and personal. On selected Sunday afternoons during the cooler months, Swiss bands bring their latest songs to the stage - no classic children's songs, no Punch and Judy shows, but plenty to amaze, sing along to and empathize with. The children's concerts at Stall6 make a wide variety of musical styles accessible to a young audience - in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The children's concert series is organised by Nadja Furrer, Zugabe GmbH, in cooperation with Gessnerallee. www.ohrenauf.ch
