Rentals
The Gessnerallee offers various rooms with comprehensive infrastructure (stage, projection, lighting and sound equipment) in the centrally located District 1 of the city of Zurich. We rent out all of the theatre's rooms when the artistic programme schedule permits. The rooms can be used independently, in combination with our catering services or in cooperation with the Riithalle restaurant. On this page you will find an overview of our rooms and their various utilisation options. Please contact us. The rooms are at your disposal for your event. The Halle is located on the ground floor of the building and is accessible without steps. It is versatile, can be partitioned and is suitable for large events of all kinds. It has a large inventory of theatre infrastructure. There are no fixed installations on the hall floor, which means that numerous room set-ups are possible. On request, two multi-storey cloakrooms with showers and toilets can also be used. Access to the hall is directly via the Gessnerallee street or through the Stall6 Bar.

Stall6 is located on the ground floor of the building and is accessible without steps. The room is characterised by a large bar and a fixed stage. It can be used in a variety of ways and can be utilised in different ways for the same event, as it can be converted with little effort. It is particularly suitable for events such as drinks receptions or flying dinners, vernissages or readings, as well as concerts or parties. Stall6 can be hired exclusively or in combination with our catering offer and services.
Important note: Stall6 is currently being remodelled and will be available for hire again from October.

The Nordflügel wing is located on the ground floor of the building and is wheelchair accessible. It is a room characterised by columns and is particularly suitable for business and private events such as anniversaries, information events, dinners as well as readings, screenings and performative events. The north wing has a spacious cloakroom with toilets and showers, which can also be used as storage space, a retreat or a back office for catering. Access to the north wing is via the entrance to Stall6 or directly via Judith-Gessner-Platz.

All studios are located on the upper floor and are not steplessly accessible. They can be reached via external stairs on the building. They are suitable for rehearsals, workshops and meetings without an audience.

Exclusively for artists
The three studios on the first floor of Gessnerallee can be used by artists for rehearsals. Artists producing at the theatre have the opportunity to have stage parts made in the small in-house wood and metal workshop or to produce them together with the technical team.
