The artists Cade/MacAskill/Spooner/Clarke are approaching the middle of their lives due to their age. At the same time, they are constantly confronted with the fact that humanity's time is running out. In their work «NOW NOT NOW», which is currently in the process of development, they step into the ring with this finiteness and open up the understanding of time beyond the structures created by humans. «NOW NOT NOW» is an ambitious, multimedia project. It explores time, human perceptions and the perception of reality. A large-scale performance with a choir that plays in different tempos simultaneously.

In this workshop, the artists will present their working process for «NOW NOT NOW». Participants are invited to take part in long-term multi-tempo experiments in which scenes run over each other at different speeds simultaneously.

Playfulness, curiosity and the joy of experimentation lay at the heart of this artistic practice. The workshop is an opportunity for artists and performers to get to know the working methods.
