Murnau's Head oscillates between concrete compositions and improvised passages. This creates layers of sound that generate a musical state and move away from classic song structures. In addition to concert performances, the group has also scored the silent film Man of Aran live at the Xenix cinema. The four instrumentalists come from different musical backgrounds, all of which influence the music.
