The Kitchen Battle is a unique gastro-cultural charity event. Various kitchen teams, from haute cuisine to trendy pubs, cook live on stage against each other, in front of and for an audience. And all for a good cause: to finance the projects of Cuisine Sans Frontières.

Cuisine Sans Frontières invites people to the table to promote community and resolve conflicts. Cooking and eating together means quality of life. Conversations are held, relationships are forged, problems are solved. This strengthens the foundations of every community. The non-profit association is based on this everyday experience. Cuisine Sans Frontières builds gastronomic meeting places and training centers in crisis areas or social conflict situations - always in cooperation with local partners. The aim is always to ensure the economically independent operation of the projects in the long term. Cuisine Sans Frontières is and has been active in Lebanon, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Georgia, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Juch Center in Zurich. The association was founded in Zurich in 2005 and is financed by donations, membership fees and the charity event Kitchen Battle.
