With FUX, Hamburg-based choreographer Ursina Tossi develops a dance piece for young and older audiences that makes accessibility for people with (visual) disabilities the artistic tool of Tossis own choreographic practice. FUX is inspired by George Saunders' book "Fuchs 8", which tells the survival story of a fox trying to cope with human destructiveness. FUX is an obituary for all the creatures we have already lost and those we are yet to lose. There may be mourning. There will be laughter. "How do we want to live together?" asks Fux. Ursina Tossi understands the methods of barrier removal as artistic means and thus goes to the core of a new orientation in inclusive dance and theater. The artist thus combines her political as well as artistic claim to break with traditional visual habits and replace them with new, fresh arrangements and aesthetics.
Before the performance there will be a touchtour for the visually impaired audience.
