With the start of the 2020/21 season, Gessnerallee will work in collective structures with transparent decision-making processes. The program is shaped by a group of around ten - consisting of a locally based program team and four co-curators who move in different global and social contexts and bring together different aesthetics.
As an employer, Gessnerallee promotes professional equality for all people and lifestyles, including specifically the compatibility of private and professional life. The house is firmly committed to anti-racist and anti-discriminatory practices in art and art production. The Gessnerallee team is in a process of organizational development and is accompanied in this by a coach with a focus on diversity-oriented organizational development. In the journal, first insights into this development process will be published in the course of the 2022/23 season.
