No, don't keep forgetting! The Schwar zenbach Kompl ex working group spent the last year collecting memories of racism and resistance at the time of and after the 1970 Schwarzenbach Initiative. Amongst other things, the group, which consists of experts of the everyday, activists, creative artists and researchers, has put together a multifaceted evening of appeals, some of which are presented at the m2act campus. Furious, melancholy, honest and raw, the memories and utopias float to the surface. A trade union speech and a video collage create a memorial. A literary analysis exposes the evil banality of migration policy language. A letter to Federal Councillor Sommaruga demands recognition and reparation. A musical performance makes the personal and social sounds of remembrance and forgetting palpable. In "Not the Same Procedure!", voices, stories and sounds from the immigration underground call for self-determination and recognition. It is a socio-political performance that demands a debate on justice and reparations.
The Schwar zenbach Kompl ex working group consists of experts of the everyday, activists, creative artists and researchers. Within the framework of a long-term artistic and ethnographical project, it aims to promote a polyphonic commemorative culture dedicated to immigration and racism.
