Sonic Tapestries is part of El Caldo. During the four days that compose El Caldo in Halle at Gessnerallee, we will be holding a space of curiosity, of doing little to listen more. The space will be open on Thursday from 19:00, on Friday and Saturday from 16:00 and on Sunday from 14:00 until 23:00 each day.
Through the course of El Caldo, Vanessà Heer and Caroline Baur will develop a sonic protocol of the four days spent together. While taking part in the activities and being in the space, they will weave their impressions into small tapestries, together with the other participants. These will serve as scores for the collected soundsnippets, with which the two will create a collage for their Listening at the end of the last day.
